I can tell it's humid !!!!

Yes, it's getting warm finally.... I forgot about the smells of summer..... doggie smells when the humidity gets in the house and the carpets give off that nice doggie fragrance

yup,its been very humid around here.and i walked down the stairs and past bos crate and WOAH did that thing reek!!! not pee or anything but that strong dog oder, so that immediately went into the wash!! not to mention his poop seems to stink worse too

Cool and damp over here on the West Coast. Of course, we don't know the meaning of 'humidity' like you Easterners do! Our humidity falls as rain! We had a 70 degree day last Saturday and I swear 75% of the population was out at waterfront park basking--we have had sun so infrequently this spring folks don't want to miss a second of it.

I only have area rugs now on the laminate floors. Got rid of the wall to wall carpet. I thought that would have eliminated that "doggie" smell in the summers. Got new furniture too (not because of doggie smell, but it was old furniture, LOL... and still have doggie smell as soon as it got humid).

I plan to shampoo the rugs one of the nice non humid dry days and I am not baby sitting my grandson.

Yes the humidity does bring out that canine odor, we don't have carpet either, but they all need baths, the Boxers are real clean you would be surprised how the long hair dachshunds smell, that long hair retains odor, so it's back to weekly baths...

It's funny how the dogs don't smell at all, yet they can leave behind a nice odor in the house, LOL. And they've never had any accidents in here either since Rex's colitis has been solved and I got rid of the carpet.
