Ok To Eat Grass?

is it ok for my boxer to eat grass. he seems to really enjoy it

Yes I believe this is okay. Dogs are naturally carnivores, and if they ate animals like they did before being domesticated, they would get the grass that was in the animals stomach. Does that make sense? So there is actually some nutrient in the grass that dogs need.

That said, some dogs do seem to get sick and throw up after eating grass. But I don't know. How are you really going to stop them anyway?

I'm with Boxerlove on this. I think it's okay. I can remember hearing people say not to let dogs eat grass because it makes them throw up, but when they go outside how are you supposed to stop them? I've actually never had my dog throw up from it.
