Default Leash Trouble

Hey guys!

Goose aka my demon dog has managed to ruin 3 leashes that I've had in the past 4 months ... The last one was bought on Saturday and was snapped by Sunday morning. I buy the extra large retractable leashes, which claim to hold up to 175lbs ... meanwhile Goose is sitting at 75lbs and is still managing to bust them.

Can anyone recommend a good/well made leash for me to try? Thanks everyone!

Wow! Sounds impressive - I've never heard of a leash just snapping but I don't use the retractables. We have two leashes for Buddy - one leather and one nylon. Both are about 1 -1 1/2 inches wide. Never had a problem with either.

Does Goose pull at the leash and snap it? If so, maybe working with him so he doesn't pull would help.

We use leather leash. And it is a double leash to walk both dogs at the same time. No problems.

Yep. Leather leash. Retractible ones are dangerous and don't work for a lot of dogs.
