Just some fun....

Just stopping in to say hi... it's been a little dead around here. Plus wanted to tell a little thing I thought was cute yesterday. I was watering my plants that were really looking like they weren't going to make it and Coco came running up to me jumping up at the nozzle. It was so cute. So I kept shutting it on and off, pointing it at her. She kept jumping in the air trying to catch the water, then would take off and was all excited then come running back.

Rex would have no part of it. He doesn't like his feet wet, nothing to do with water at all, LOL.

We opened our pool the other day so we've been spending alot of time around it getting it cleaned up. The dogs have been excited that now they have more area to run around that the gate is opened while we are in that area, so they can run in there too. Last night, I thought one of them was going to end up in the pool while they were on their running path, stopped and slid... LOL.... I thought I was going to have to go in the pool earlier than planned, LOL.

lol silly things. do they like to actually swim it the pool? it has been dead around here. must be the nice weather making everyone go outside

Yeah, I was wondering where everybody was! Wally loves to play in the hose. Nearly every time Kevan goes out on 'poop patrol' he ends up having to hose off his shoes (Wally is very clever at disguising his land mines), and Wally thinks this is the BEST game! He also feels it necessary to come in and share the fun with me--if no one thought to close the door so he can't get thru into the house! We got him a wading pool last year and he splashed around a little--mostly used it as a big water dish--but man does he love the hose!

Buddy will walk by the lake shore and get his feet wet, but he doesn't want to get really wet at all - even a light sprinkle outside will make him want to come in.

And trying to give him a bath!?!? He sees you with the shampoo and starts running before you're even in the bathroom. So smart, lol.

But if there's no dog shampoo to be seen, he knocks open the bathroom door on me every time I'm in there washing my face or whatever. As he strolls by the tub, he always pauses and looks in it, like "I don't want to end up there."

He's very particular about how much he's willing to get wet and under what circumstances. But once Mike puts him in the tub, he stands still and tolerates a bath, so it's not like a phobia.

No, neither of them like the pool.

They will stay in the tub for a bath. Coco will get a little impatient and jump out before totally rinsed.

I think the nice weather has gotten everyone outside. We have had a long winter!!! I've been out the past couple days doing some yard work, gardening. It was hot out there today and wanted to get a lot done before the humidity hits tomorrow.
