I did take Rex's ball out, but bring it inside once it gets dark, or we will be waiting forever at the last pee for the night..... he will want to be playing!!!! I bring the ball in the laundry room and he waits for every opportunity of me leaving the the door open so he can sneak in there to steal the ball out.... they are so smart!!!

When things mean alot too them, they know exactly where they are. My current lot aren't really obsessive with any of the toys, only if one dog has something then the other wants it - typical! But as you know Ruby is obsessed with squirrels. This morning both Ruby and Roddy were running around and jumping up at the trees trying to get at them.

I can't walk past the treat box without heads being raised to see if I am going to stop and open it, and if I hover near by it or pick up something next to it, both the boxers are at my feet in seconds doing the most perfect sit in expectation - I don't even have to say a word...........Jakey has wised up, he knows it's not worth getting up until the lid of the box actually comes off....

Sounds like Jakey is into conservation--of energy! Don't waste it unnecessarily! Wally is a real chow hound too--sometimes if we can't get him to come in, I'll rattle the cookie jar and he comes running!
