Antlers

I just placed an order for antlers. I believe they are ELK antlers. According to fellow NJ Boxer Rescuers, their dogs love them and they last a long time, so I ordered them from the same place. I ordered the 2 pack Large Hard 7-8 inches long.

We shall see how my dogs like them. I have a feeling Coco will love them. I don't know about Rex. But Coco is my chewer of ALL things.

Our Ruby really likes antlers but Peaches just sniffs and bumps them around. They are in most of the pet stores here. Are they not accessible there like they are here? They don't ever break at all..but they love the bits inside!

I never looked for them in stores. I know my boxer friends talked about them before. I forgot the reason for ordering them online.

Boo loves antlers. We've found them to be hit or miss. We've had some last a long time, others she was able to destroy in a day or two.

We got some over a year ago now, still got them knocking around the house.
When we first got them the boxers both thought they were something special so we had a few 'disagreements' over them and had to give it separately - hopefully Coco and Rex will be more polite with each other though!

From what I remember, the first time I gave it to them they spent about an hour chewing on them, the next time half an hour, the next time 10 minutes, after that no interest really.

Ruby spends maybe 5 minutes on them every now and then, Roddy & Jakey ignore them completley.
