Obama, Pick The Damn Dog Already

January 18 - Is anybody else getting sick of reading or hearing about the Obama pet dog situation?

Maybe if he just chose the breed of dog already, then we could all find something else to rant on and on about.

The list of dog breeds has been narrowed to 2, them being the labradoodle, or the Portuguese water dog.

Both dogs are non shedders, which is important as 1 of Obama's youngsters has allergies to pet dander, amongst other things.

The boss to be, promised his 2 daughters a puppy when they moved into the White House, and now that that day is 2 days away, he better hurry up and deliver!

I agree Andrea. These people are all about earning a buck and could care less about the breed, or in this care the breeds

Instead of BSL they should focus on this crap first

Everything is getting crossed with a poodle because they are "low allergy" dogs. Once they are crossed there is no way to tell what the coat will be like. Poodles are perfectly fine dogs, as are boxers obviously.

If someone is really out to create a new breed they will go through certain steps to gain AKC registration for the breed. They will breed for a look, a personality and what the dog will be suited to do. All these "oodle"s are really a scam IMHO. If someone wants a mutt they should go to the shelter! I cannot imagine paying $3000 for a mutt!

They don't look like boxers at all. I think that those people are just scammers.
