Puppies commonly get vaginitis . It is usually a odd smell and a bit of yellowish discharge seen after the urinate . You might also want to have a vet rule out an urinary tract infection as that will make it hard for her to hold it and housetraining will be difficult at best .

In most cases vets will give antibiotics to clear up vaginitis but it will usually come back , sometimes many times . Usually after being spayed it stops but not always , they may just have to outgrow it .

I remember Daisy had the discharge as a pup, but no odor... I would probably want a vet to check that out.

Thank You for your input. We did take her to the vet yesterday she has a UTI. He has her on antibiotics. Hopefully this will be the only attack of this she has.

It has been 5 days now and Sweet Pea is doing wonderful. The smell is gone and the frequency of the pee's have lessened. We are both very happy.

We finished the antibiotic 4 days ago and she has begun to have to pee all the time again. The smell is not there yet but she pees alot. Does it come back that quick?
