I hope Keepers in feeling better, Andrea. I was thinking about this accident because I've had a similar type thing with Buddy. We had the airline cage and Buddy hated it so we went with the wire one which he loves but his foot has gotten caught a few times in the last couple of weeks. Each time he yelped and got it out before I got there, but this incident made me rethink the whole thing.

What we just ordered is a Quiet Time Bed to go in his crate - he needed a new bed in there anyway - and it has a wall that goes around the edge.

This one is kinda big, because his crate is. I think they make them smaller if needed. It should prevent him from getting his foot caught when he stretches out, which is when this has happened. I don't know if you think it would work for you, but I thought I'd toss the idea out there.

Hope he's doing better - and you too!

Keepers is feeling MUCH better. If Boo really pushes on him he will yelp, but he isn't limping and has way too much energy! Thanks for all the good thoughts!

Poor Keepers!
Good thing boxers are such snugglers, he should be happy just chillin' with mom, and that way both of you can rest. Please keep us informed as to his progress--and hope YOU feel better too!
