Georgie is doing much better. She still will get more winded than other dogs but I have stopped freaking out. She is in heat now which I was hoping to avoid but the vet wanted to wait to get her fixed. It actually has not been bad which I understand with their first heat sometimes it is not. Today she is whining a lot and she has cabin fever because I can't take her out for her walk.

Oh, I'm so glad she is doing better... did the vet ever say what was wrong with her?

Oh I am glad, so will this be a condition she will have for life and have to adapt to it like not over exercising etc? Hang in there Georgie you can go for walkies soon.

I really think her problem stemmed from the fires. If she has sensitive lungs I will have to figure out what her "triggers" are.
