Exclamation new boxer has worms

I have a 16 week old boxer named Baby Aaliyah. She is up to date on her shots and seems to be in good health. Yesterday she had an accident in the house and there were like tons of three inch long worms in her poop! The breeder we bought her from said he dewormed her and I dewormed her again at 13 weeks, just to make sure they were gone. Should I take her back to the vet or see what this dewormer does? This is my first purebred dog, so I want her to have the best of everything!!!!

I'd get to the vet with a stool sample

Many puppies have worms . And usually one dose is not enough to kill them all off . And it will also depend on the type of worms as all wromers do not get rid of all types of worms .

take a sample to the vet and they can give you the right meds for the type of worms that she has .

Hi! i'd go to the vets & get it checked out....also, food grade 'diametacous earth' is great for eliminating worms (also fleas)...some vets carry it, pet stores or even feed stores.

There was also a discussion about worms not too long ago here.

We are a military family so our economy evoloves around the 1st and the 15th, so I have to wait to take her to the vet until the first! I did go to this place called Rural King, its like a farmers supply store and picked up some deworming tablets (the packet has 2 tabs in it in case on tab isn't enough). This will be the 3rd time I have dewormed her in 6 weeks. Something has to give! I am definitely still going to take her to the vet just to make sure I got all those nasty worms gone! What I don't understand is, she don't have any signs of worms like you read about....bloated belly, vomiting worms, there isn't always worms in her stools either. I am so confused!
