Paw Question

My 4 year old white boxer has really red paws, she doesn't seem to be licking like crazy, and they don't seem to bother her to the touch, but I'm worried there's something wrong any suggestions?

Not at all open sore's, just her skin looks red and irritated, but like I said she'll let me touch them and get in between her toes no problem.

Welcome!! Have they always been red or is this new? Maybe an allergy?? I have a whitie too. They do seem to be more prone to allergies.

That's a good question...and also what do you clean your floors/carpets with? I've heard that 'swiffer' cleaner causes reactions in some dogs. Could be food allergies too...we've gone through that with Nikita when she was on kibble. Like Daisy's mom, i'm curious how long the paws have been red?? We went through many symptoms of allergies with our whitey, Memo, it appears that it was adverse reaction to the last vaccine he got...ever since then he's had probs.

Boo used to break out on her belly when I still used a Swiffer, her whole tummy is so close to the ground half her body turned red.

Is the fur in beteween the toes red ? Is that the irritation you mean ? Is it also on the beginning of the nails as they come out of the toes?
Red between the toes and nail beds is usually a yeast problem . It does not usually bother them or itch , it just looks bad .
There are many home remedies to get rid of yeast . Washing the feet in selsun blue shampoo or soaking them in apple cider vinegar all have been known to work .
Yest will usually come back so it may be something that will need to be done regularly .
