Default Allergy Question

Keepers seems to get ear infections when he eats chicken. We cut chicken out of his normal diet and he's been doing great.

Last week my mom brought over some chicken biscuits for the pups. I let Keepers have 2 or 3, each one was a little larger than a quarter. Then last weekend I noticed his ears bothering him again. I gave him the ear medicine we use for his infections for a few days and he's fine again. Can that little chicken really cause a problem?

Looking at allergies in humans and the severe reactions that can be caused just by trace amounts of certain foods like peanut butter, egg, sesame seeds etc makes me think that it wouldn't be very different in dogs.

I hope this is not a stupid question....was Keepers shaking his ears alot? i'm asking bc Memo has allergies and lately has been shaking ears alot, he's also mainly eating chicken. What meat source do you now feed Keepers? What medicine do you use?
