Default Rex's ribs showing????

OK... I was just trying to get opinions here on Rex's weight. Of course it is impossible to get him to stand still long enough for me to get a good shot of his ribs. I am thinking he is looking pretty good. I think he has put some weight on and am very happy about this. Tell me what you think. In some shots you see all of his ribs, but some not. I am wondering. Do you any of you guys have this happen with your boxers. Coco, I never see her ribs at any time, but when Rex is in that pouncing stance, that is when his ribs show deeply, like his skin sags down which makes room for his ribs to show, LOL.

I see them in this photo.

This one too, but not as pronounced.

Well... all I see is mouths in this one, LOL.... mean dogs, aren't they, LOL LOL LOL

So what do you all think?

I know there is a huge difference here, but I guess I will always be worried about his weight. Comparison photo:

Oh yes! I think Memo looks good..but i do see the ribs at times a bit pronounced...especially when he's playing. I've upped his food a bit. Doreen, i think we've talked about this before...and i mentioned to you that i noticed this when Memo's feedings went down to 2x a day (same amount though). Also he seems to have had an adverse reaction to his last vaccine. I'm actually taking him to a natural vet next Tuesday....there is def something wrong with his immune, we will be taking hair samples and try to get to bottom of it...but i don't know if this is reason he's not gaining and the ribs being a bit pronounced??
But honestly Doreen, i think Rex looks great!! he looks so healthy now compared to when you first got him...and his poops are doing good...so i think he'll be fine.

Rex is on the right track. Maybe he could use another 1/2 pound to a pound on him, but he's looking much better. He likes his food so it's just a matter of time! I'm so glad he's feeling better. I actually was telling our local pet store owner about him the other day. When she opened she said she felt good pushing quality kibble, but now she says she almost always points people to raw.

ETA: I LOVE that 4th photo, Coco is just too funny!

I can see all of Tango's ribs too. He eats like a horse but runs around non-stop until he finally crashes at 9:00PM! He must have a good metabolism.

I think yours looks great! And what a difference from before.

Looks like he has gained a little more (I know he went down a bit with the last poop flare up), sure he could do with a little bit more weight but even I have issues keeping Ruby's weight right at times - she will look real good for a few weeks and then I will see her ribs a bit so we adjust food and she's goes back up then she stops eating all of her meal and leaves a little bit so I reduce again not to waste and this goes on and on. Slowly but surely he will get there. Also like Rex, sometimes Ruby's ribs do show in certain positions when they don't in others.

Thanks everyone! I was thinking maybe another 5 lbs.. but that may be too much.. we shall see.

I think Rex has only turned down food once since I've gotten him, LOL. Certainly not since he has raw food, LOL.

I did get back to the pet store and bought a new slow eating bowl that has rubber on the bottom. It is feeding time again now at this zoo, so we shall see how this one works.
