This is so sad, poor you, poor Rosie and Ruby – please waffle on as much as you want, I think we can all empathise with how hard it is to have a poorly baby. Fingers crossed for some better news from the vets.

Sue, hope you hear good news tomorrow. Maybe once she gets the IV into her, she will start to show improvement.

Having them stay at the vets is very hard and upsetting, but if she is not drinking it really is the best place for her so that they can keep her hydrated. Sending lots of healing {{{{{vibes}}}}} and hugs to you and your Boxer girls . We are here any time you need to "waffle" on. I will keep her in my prayers and thoughts.

thank you all so much for your messages..... better news today. phoned the vet and she had antibiotics and iv fluids and they were happy for her to come home , so i was straight up there, nevermind work !! she had some bounce and wiggles for me, so i was really chuffed as she had been so flat with no bounce. the vet thinks she has some kind of bacaterial infection but not sure what , so she has 5 days of oral antibiotics starting tonight and the vet wants to see her again tomorrow morning. she is very small for boxer and was 20kg which dropped to 19kg, so i think they may keep an eye on her weight. she had a couple of runny poos when she got home but im putting that down to the antibiotics but will tell the vet tomorrow. they gave me some tins of sensitive food as rosie ate what they gave her this morning. so small meals and often for next few days . i hope she continues to improve now and will keep you all posted . your lovely messages have really helped, so sending back big hugs to all of you . no one knows boxers better than boxer owners, and what a fab dog they are . thank you all again
luv sue ( and ruby and rosie) xx
