My little girl.

My girl is almost 10 years old and she has been starting to like drool excessively for no reason. She will start to lick her lips and drool a lot while we are all watching television. I was just wondering if any of you knew what's wrong with my little baby girl.
P.S.- I've taken her to the vet, they aren't sure about what's wrong. :-(

Have you checked her mouth ? Sometimes bad teeth or something stuck in her gums or the roof of her mouth can cause drooling .
Also they can drool if they have an upset stomach .

Welcome to the forum. Is that all that's changed? Just drooling - only while you watch TV?

Hi there Eric, sorry to hear about your girl, maybe you want to see another vet if your current one is clueless?
Can't help adding that Ruby only drools if there's chocolate about and she has to wait a few seconds for it!

Hi and The two things that come to my mind are an upset stomach which causes drooling and licking their lips - have you noticed if she has been munching on any grass since it started? The second is being nervous, if it is only while you are watching TV could the sounds or lights flashing be affecting her? If she is aging one or more of her senses could be going eg her sight may be going slightly and the TV may appear different to her (just an idea)
