Coco, itchy butt???

I haven't seen a dog do this in many many years, except on a Stanley Steemer carpet cleaning commercial, LOL, but Coco just did this once yesterday and again this morning. She was sitting and dragging her butt across the carpet. Any clues as to why she would do this. I know years ago, they used to say it meant a dog had worms, but I don't really think it was true. I had read it wasn't many years ago, but forgot what the reasons would be for it. I did just give her fish oil in a liquid yesterday for the first time. I didn't give it today and see what happens, then try it again in a few days.

Anal glands. I don't ever have my guys manually expressed, but some take them in to the vet to have them expressed if they are having a problem with them. It may just work itself out on its own though. Keepers has expressed his glands in the house twice. It is a very strange smell, you'll know it when it happens, it's almost a metallic fishy type smell. Just keep an eye on her to see if it gets worse.

I was thinking that was it too..... I know my son has to take his mastiff once a year or so to get that done from the vet. I know how stinky it can be.
I did see some spots on my bed and I washed all my bedding yesterday. Haven't seen her do it anymore today. Hopefully it worked its way out.

On this subject, Coco hasn't had a problem anymore. I guess her glands are all cleaned out now, LOL.
