Hey all

mach seems to have some lil bumps on his "forehead" it doesnt seem to hurt him but he has them. They are not visible but you can feel em ( I guess I would have to shave his head lol.)

Maybe from a plant or something? They are no where else on his body. Anyone have this happen?

Rex has tiny white mole like things that sprouted on the top of his head. The vet saw them the other day and didn't think twice, since Rex has so many mole like things on his belly too, and Boxers are so well known for moles.

Coco has a bump, probably more like you are talking about, but right near her tail. It isn't growing any. She hasn't been to the vet in a while, but I will show him next time she is due to go in. I can't see anything, just feel it. almost like the size of a pea. she has had it for probably about 6 months.

I also know that when they get a reaction type thing, it looks just like the hair raises up in spots, but those usually go away within hours or by the end of the day. I had another boxer that happened to once. Covered his whole body. I took him into the vet and they said to give him benedryl. They went down by the end of the day, but don't know why he got them or if the benedryl did the trick or just nature took its course.

I agree with Doreen if it was hives/allergies the hairs would be sticking up and it will go away a while - either when not in contact with the cause or after meds. At our check up the other day the first thing the vet asked was about any bumps, she said as it was a common problem with Boxers (and poss of cancer) and informed us she does not waste any time and removes them ASAP. Perhaps a vet check would be a good idea.
