Hello, I am new to the site, thanks for having me. My baby girl, Layla is 15mo old boxer she is acting very strange. Not eating or drinking just laying around bowel movements are normal shes walking very slowly. we are going to see vet 2moro but just wondering if anyone has ever experienced this. she didnt even run to greet me after work yesterday, which is very very out of her character I usually get bulldozed. she is not crying but seems very lazy. Her teets are swollen and she is not yet spayed we have a appointment in two weeks. shes only had her first heat. any suggestions! shes our baby!

There are too many things that come to mind .
I would just get her to the vet & have them run bloodwork .

Update, Layla went to see the vet today but it was after she had a bowel movement that was a little bit concerning, it had parts of a rubber toy throughout. She was totally normal by the time we took her to the appointment. Vet ran a couple tests, but believes it was her digesting the rubber that probably was not safe for dogs due to it being purchased at a dollar store. So we also learned a valuable lesson. Thanks for your concerns! Happy to have my spunky girl back!

I'm not suggesting it, but it would be an interesting thread of things you've found in your dog's stool. We've had a few surprises as well. Glad she's feeling better.
