Hi my names John and im writting to ask for some knowledge, i have a 9 month old boxer who has recently been getting a lot of green coming out of his eyes, I don't know the name but I know people call them "eye boogers". The point is hes been waking up with a whole lot more than usual, Ill clean them but they keep coming out throughout the day iv'e done some research and it seems like he might have an eye infection, my only question is why is both eyes not just one? If anyone has had this happen to there dogs i'd like to know what my next step should be, Thank you.

I would go to a vet... green is infection. an eye infection needs medication.

It could be 2 things .
An infection , which needs to be treated by a vet or if the pollen is starting to come out where you live it could be the excess pollen in the air .

I know mine have had some yellowish eye boogiesat the beginning of spring / pollen season . It does go away after the pollen settles down .

Not a vet, but sounds like an eye infection. Good luck and definately see your vet.
