I've always thought brushing a "healthy" dogs teeth was just odd.
Do you brush your pups teeth?

They got a dog brush and toothpaste for Christmas from my mum. I tried it once and they hated it so I won't continue with it. Scout was just at the vet and she said he teeth looked real good.

For some reason, I was thinking they didn't need brushing til they were 3 years old.... don't ask me where I heard that from... I could have dreamt it for all I know, LOL.... I had started brushing Rex's, but then once Coco came along, it was to hectic with her in our faces, LOL..... I would like to do it again. I have those pads that have whatever they need to clean with and just rub it all over including the gums. For old Roxy & Rufs, I had doggie toothbrushs and special paste. They used to let me do it no problem and couldn't wait for their turn.

Yes, I do both mine - I find that even though Ruby gets bones regularly there is still plaque build up along the gumline of her teeth. I do her teeth twice a week, at first it was a bit of a battle, but now she just accepts it.
This is the toothpaste I use -
Roast Dinner Toothpaste - 200g - Dorwest

I haven't needed to so far RMB's are doing a good job. My friend does with their mini Schnauzer they also put breath freshener stuff in her water I told her to just giver her some bones but apparently she is too much of a princess to get down and dirty with a bone.

We haven't brushed Buddy's teeth since he went on raw - about a year ago. Between raw food and bully sticks (plus all the junk he seems to find and love), his teeth look fine.
