OK I am not sure how much running you guys are talking about but when I go walk with my guy he does do a little running for a few minutes and then I let him run around in the yard while we are playing. Are you guys talking about running for extended periods of time? My guys is 13 weeks and 29#'s so he is needing some good exercise but I do not want to hurt him either.

So a little basic running mixed in with walking for about 15 minutes shouldn't be a big deal?

nope, that is just fine. in fact like that it is good, as long as you take along plenty of water. but i also think that running is something that you cant really prove does any harm because there havent really been any studies on it, at least not that i have come across.

Well he loves to get out there and run around and I feel that as long as it is on grass and isn't putting too much stress on his joints he will be fine. He runs when he wants but when he gets tired he will slow down and walk. Like I said I sure do not want to hurt him but I can't see where running with a puppy is harmful.
