Right now she is on Purina Pro Plan Puppy, chicken and rice. She really doesn't care for her dry kibble at all, and I don't know what food to try next for her.

If the sores on her legs are red and crusty, like on her skin, I'd take her to the vet. It may be a staph infection. My dog Scooby had it when he was in the final stages of cancer, when his immune system was really weak. He'd get them on his legs and back. You'd need antibiotics for that.
Another thing to watch for would be rawhides and dog treats, my vet told me lots of dogs are allergic to them.
Good luck!

We took Cali to the vet and she has a deep infection in her lip, probably from a pimple, and she is now on antibiotics! The vet did some skin scrapings to check for mange, and it was negative, so all her scratching is probably just dry skin or an allergy to something. The vet suggested only giving her rubber toys to chew on, as many dogs are allergic to plastics. So far her lip is looking a bit better, and we also have to wash her mouth area daily with hydrogen peroxide.
