Default Nail health?

Wally and his nails. I took him in for a booster shot on Monday, and they also clipped his nails. I noticed last night that he has some that have sort of split off--sort of like major hang nails for us. I'm starting to wonder if his nails are particularly brittle and that is why he keeps splitting them. Does anyone know of a suppliment or something that could make his nails perhaps a bit softer and flexible?

thanks!

hmm, the only thing i can think of is to maybe get a grinder thing, like a dremmel, that way you can keep his nails very short and smooth, which i think would help.

Edy sometimes get those too . I notice it more when she runs round more / harder then normal .
I do dremel her nails which makes it easy to get rid of the split / hang nail area .ust smooth it down so it does not catch on anything .

I don't know of anything to make nails softer .
