This morning I heard my dog whining while he was moving around on the bed. When I got up to take him out, I could tell he didn't want to jump down so I picked him up but when I touched near his hind quarters that's when he started whining again. When I took him out to go to the bathroom he was very slow (very unusual) and did not seem to want to come back inside afterwards. I had to bribe him with some cheese in his food bowl which did make him eat but now he is just laying in his cage (something he never does). Please help, we're so worried He also won't drink the water we gave him.

My first instinct is to go to the vet, but I'm sure others will have other advice for you.

sounds like a vet trip is in order. We could only guess as to what's wrong. A vet may be able to know right away after examining him.

keep us posted.

Sending healthing vibes, but agree off to the Vet, sometimes it's just a sprain or muscle pull, but you don't want to take any chances. Also think of everything from the past 24 hours, did he get into anything? running and crashing into anything? any and all symptoms this will help the Vet when you get there...
