Cruciate Repair
To remove this ad please Register My own dog, just under went cruciate ligament repair in the form of a TPLO. Anybody on this board have a dog that has ever blown out their cruciate ligament?

My boy is a tough little man, as not a week after surgery, he is getting up on his own and walking around putting weight on the leg.

Today is a week post TPLO, and he goes in to have his staples removed tomorrow!

Tplo
My 5 1/2 yr old male just had TPLO surgery. Heis now 3 weeks after surgery. We have had him home for bed rest for 3 weeks.we will start phase 2 physical therapy) after his third week of home rest. Im told it is about a 14 week recovery. I wish your dog well and hope my granger does well also. Kevin

Lars has a 12 week x-ray coming up tomorrow. I think the cold weather that we are experiencing is affecting his leg a little bit as it appears stiffer than usual, something I noticed as soon as it began cooling off here. I'll update on his status tomorrow.
