Default 9 mth old vomiting and diahrrea

Our pup has been throwing up after eating every meal now, and has had diahrrea all day, he did have some milk (about 1/4c) the other day and half of an egg, which was a special thing, we don't feed him human food but my dad was in town and gave it to him without us knowing :O But I'm not sure if this could be serious, a bug, or just his stomach not handling that human food. Anyone had this happen to their babies??

I would suggest fasting him for approx 24 hrs (give him water of course) then try him with a small amount of food if he can handle it great, if not get him to the vet for a check up. This is how we check if tummy upsets are serious with our girl - she has had pancreatitis so we have learnt if we fast her and she is okay with food when reintroduced it was probably an upset tummy but if it keeps going it is a relapse.

I agree, restrict his food for a day. No change, a trip to the vet is order

love your pups name btw

Many dogs can not tolerate cows milk . But I would think that would have gotten out of his system by now .

I agree with the others , fast him then a bland diet to see if he can keep it down . If not then take him to a vet .

Thank you for all your great advice, his stool seems a bit more solid but still not what we are used to (and very difficult to pick up to throw away...hose is used more now for that) LOL, and I don't think HE really liked anyone's post about fasting; since all he is motivated by is eating :O ...but it seems to be working I really appreciate all your responses. Thank you again.
