Poor Ruby..........
To remove this ad please Register
.........she got stung by something - no idea what - bee, wasp, she had hives come up all over her shoulders and legs, her face swelled up so badly and in less than 10 minutes her eyes were so swollen we couldn't even see them. We rushed her to the vets and she got a shot of antihistimine, she slept all the rest of the afternoon. Today her face is still a little swollen, and she is still a little sleepy, but she looks and seems alot better.

Poor girl .
I would keep some benadryl( antihistamine ) on hand . It is not uncommon for the hives to come back as the first round of meds wears off .

WOW! I would have totally freaked out, Stephanie! How tough that must have been (still is, I guess) for both of you. Glad she's doing okay! Give her a hug from us

Poor Baby! She looks so miserable. Yes, I 'd keep some benedryl on hand as well. I actually have an Epi-Pen for my nut allergies, so if it was an emergency, could use it on Wally--think I'd check with the vet first tho! Carli hated bees and got stung on the mouth once 'cause she bit it, but luckily didn't have the swelling reaction. Hope she's all better now!

Poor girl. I am sorry for her, although I must admit that I find her face amusing.
