I am always waiting for the dogs to cough up a hairball the way they keep licking all the time. That sound DRIVES ME CRAZY, like fingernails on a chalk board!!!!!! In the middle of the night if one of them is licking... I try to let it go, but then I just have to yell, STOP LICKING!, LOL.... I just can't help it!

I always wondered about that too! But figured it would be more likely to be longer haired dogs. Guess you'll have to start giving him that malt stuff you give to cats, and watch out he might start purring any day now!

Doreen I know EXACTLY what you are saying - it drives me bonkers too...lick, lick, lick, lick.....grrrrr - why do they have to groom themselves during the night hours....they have ALL DAY to groom themselves. I know by the sound of the licking who it is so I say their name out and tell them to pack it up as well............
