Recovery for boys is pretty easy. I've opted not to give pain meds to any boy animals I've had fixer. They seem to be less active if they actually feel the pain. Also, if he is licking his incision you can put some kids boxer shorts on him, usually this goes over better than the cone. We relied on lots of kongs and bully sticks during the recovery time from surgery. Lots of crate time also.

K so Roscoe only has 1 testicle they are saying with no U/S that the other is "up there" and he will have to have a more invasive surgary to "fix". My vet is giving us until our little man is a year to see if it drops. any one else had this problem and if so how long is that recovery?
