I do (I'm sure you're thinking "of course she would" lol). He has his own toothbrush with bristles on three sides. I use a peanut toothpaste. He doesn't love it, but he doesn't mind too much. I've never had him put under for surgery and it really scares me. His teeth were pretty gross when we got him but the brushing and some different chew treats have helped a lot. I actually think his teeth are better than Boo's now.

Stay away from peanut butter! At least for now. Recall on Peanut Butter Dog Biscuits

Are people affected by this peanut butter recall? I don't eat peanut butter (never got used to the taste ), but I hear them talking only about dog treats but what about human food?

Ours doesn't have real peanut butter in it.

That's what we do for Boo also and it works wonders. Keepers doesn't even know what to do with a raw bone, the poor man! He just looks at it like "mom, you going to throw that for me, or what?".

I brush my dog's teeth every couple weeks. My understanding is that plaque buildup can cause some serious health problems (people included). I mostly keep her going on toys and kibble that do most of the work for me. But I whip out the three-sided toothbrush and chicken flavored enzyme toothpaste now and then to hit the places that the toys don't.
