didnt even think of that i kinda figured they wouldnt do much at this point. im from fort st john and am heading to grande prairie to visit a couple of friends and the breeder is in fox creek (dont think hes registered) and since i was only gonna be a couple hours away its a matter of convienence to go put the deposit down otherwise the next time im in the area will be in middle of august which is when im supposed to pick the puppy up. its about a 6 hr drive from where i am to there so i didnt wanna spend 12hrs driving just to go do the deposit. this would also give me a chance to see the mother and meet the guy. weve been in touch over the phone and in email constantly but you get alot more out of a face to face imo.

Welcome to the Hub!
I can't give you any better suggestions than have already been given, as we got Wally from a coworker who had gotten him at a garage sale (of all things!) because she didn't approve of the way the litter was being cared for. He was only 5 weeks old when she got him--Waaaay too young, but-what are you going to do? I'd hope the breeder would give you a 2nd choice if anything happened to your first choice---maybe you should pick out a 'back-up' puppy just in case! Since they're so young, you will probably have to base your choice on gut feeling--but sometimes that's the best way!
Lots of knowledgable folks here, that will be able to answer most of the questions that you will have as the months progress!
Yes, Please---Pictures!!!
