Hello from Michigan

Hi all,
My name is Rhonda and I am new to the forum. My boyfriend and I just adopted our beautiful 12 week old brindle boxer girl named Ziah.(We have had her since Thanksgiving weekend).She is doing excellent with potty training and she already knows how to "sit", "lay down" and "come here"
I just wanted to introduce myself as well as little Miss Ziah. Im still trying to get the hang of using the forum as I have never been on one of these before.

Welcome Rhonda. I'm also from Michigan and have a brindle boxer. Our guy is almost two. Sounds like you've been doing some good work with training... they need lots of that, lol! It's good to start early.

Ziah is an interesting name - does it have special meaning? I've not heard it before but I like the sound of it.

Once you find your way around BH, please do post pics. You can do that either by linking to them from an external site, like PhotoBucket, using the hyperlink option in the Message window, or by going to the upper left corner of the screen, clicking on UserCP and Pictures & Albums under the Networking section.

This is a fun group that's also got a lot of collective wisdom. They've been a lot of help to me in raising Buddy so be sure to post questions as well as funny things Ziah does.

Welcome! This is a group that is full of knowledge and good advise-they help you thru the 'what was I thinking' moments---and there WILL be a few, trust me! Lots of fun too, and I'm sure you will get the hang of things quickly. (puppy photos! yes!)

We found the name Ziah on a web site, except it was spelled Zia, I like the H to it.
I will have to admit the breeder had already started the litter on a potty pad at 7 weeks (we took her home at 8 weeks). She is so smart
I thought I had an album created using the UserCP, there are only 2 pictures in it as until I get home from work. please let me know if you can at least see those.
Spyglass Sally: You boxer looks alot like Ziah, he is so handsome! How is he liking the snow/cold? Ziah loves to play in the snow but hates how cold its been.
PS How do you make your profile pictures change to different pictures like your does?

They both have very similar markings! She's a real cutie! It will be fun to see more shots of her as you get them.

Buddy loves the snow! He loves to chase snow balls in particular - strong prey drive. I have one of those chuck it ball launchers but in the winter I use it to scoop snow up and throw snow balls. Even if they fall apart, he still lovs chasing them down.

Btw, where in Michigan are you from?

I make my profile change by having it be an animated .gif image file instead of a static image file.
