    Hi Doreen,

I'm feeling kinda lost here - I don't remember doing any theme photo for Valentines and I don't use photobucket. Do you mean my signature? That's from pitapata.com. Or do you mean my avatar, which is an animated gif? I did that in Adobe Fireworks.

    Sorry - does that help?

Hi Doreen, thanks for the response. Rosie had a biopsy on one of her "bumps" in December 2009 the results came back malignant, but they couldn't determine exactly what type, it was possible histiocytosis - lympoma or sarcoma. the vet put her on an oral chemo for 1 month, but that didn't seem to help. she eats like a pig! Her breathing is what bothers me. Other wise she seems pretty normal. She does have a little leakage, but they say that is from the prednisone. She is our first Boxer and is different than any other dog we have every had. Just not sure if she is suffering. Thanks for listening!!

It is a horrible thing to watch your dog suffer. Roxy was sick for about a week before, she kept laying on the cold bathroom floor, wedged between the toilet and the shower stall. She had never done that before. She would also have times of panting. But other times she would even be playing, so I didn't know how serious this was. When I had taken her to the vet and they did xray, they showed the tumor and they couldn't operate on it. She also had something else show up in the xray, but now I can't remember what it was., I think some spot on her liver too. It was then that my husband and I made the decision to put her down. Is was right after Christmas. Not this past one, but the one before. You just know when it is the right time to do this, when you know the dog is suffering and there is nothing that can be done for her.

    Where is Rosie's cancer?

hi Rosie, the only health issue Roxy had was arthritis, but in the end it was a cancerous tumor on her heart that she passed away from. She had many of those big moles all over her, but the vet said they were nothing, and if she had her teeth cleaned again and was under anesthesia they would remove the larger one. Oh, she did have a problem with leakage. She was on a medication called PPA. I don't remember the whole name for it, but that slowed down her urine leakage somewhat. Later towards the end, I was having wee wee pads under her beds, since she was really losing alot then.
