You know.... I don't even know when the last time I saw a real butcher was. We used to have one years ago in my old neighborhood, but that got torn down to make room for highways. My mom used to have them deliver foods to us all the time. But now that I am here in this new area, I haven't even seen one.

i have to admit, i didn't read through all of the replies on this thread. but, we've been feeding raw chicken wings and she has no trouble chewing those bones. we were told at least 3 chicken wings a week b/c they are great for the bones plus cleaning the teeth and gums and jaw muscles.
