Question Need Help With Raw Order

To remove this ad please Register
I am placing an order from this place http://crestonvalleymeats.com/store/...=index&cPath=1 that delivers in my area. They have some interesting raw feeding items. I ordered beef heart, sardines, beef trim, ostrich frames. I also ordered assorted beef bones. I had to order the bones in order to get green tripe. I was wondering what else would be good to order? I was thinking of ordering the beef neck bones but was not sure. I am a little nervous about the ostrich frames. Some of the ground items I was worried had too much offal in them. Any help from you experienced raw feeders would be appreciated!

Oh my gosh Tanny - you've hit gold!

I'm still reading through the list but so far if it was me I'd be getting
*beef tongue
berry chicken mix (would be perfect for a newbie starting out)
*ground rabbit with guts
*beef neck bones have me curious - I haven't tried them but have given lamb necks and she eats the whole thing no probs could you get just one to try?
*gizzards (I feed them alone as a meal )
*mix meat bag
orange beef (another good one for a newbie)
*sardines
*the organ mix looks good

oh Tanny I would want all of it

I'm assuming it would be the ribs and spine which aren't load bearing bones, I think they'd be good - I'm just having trouble trying to picture the size of them

Since I'm sitting here with sore, popped blisters, on my hands from trying to cut up a turkey frame, I'd say that you might need a good chainsaw LOL.

Heck, if I was given the option I'd try the ostrich frame and everything else at least once!!! What a great find!!
