I just got my meat order. Very interesting. The green tripe is in 2 ziploc bags and are about 7lbs each. How would I package that?? Gross! How often do you feed green tripe???

You can feed it alone as a whole meal once or twice a week, or add smaller amounts daily or every other day - everyone has a different way of doing it if it's in 7lb bags maybe as a whole meal lol.
Umm how to package he he he sorry Tanny but I think it's going to get funny lol. Maybe tip it in your laundry tub and bag one or two meal size portions - you have two dogs right so one meal for both dogs per day I'm estimating would be around 1lb - so 1 -2 lbs per bag - I think it's going to be messy no matter what you try so just cover whatever you can in plastic/garbage bags to reduce clean up afterwards, when mixing my monthly ground I put plastic on my bench tops and mix it on that. Have fun with it - sorry couldn't resist

I really think I am going to hurl!! I just did the green tripe. If this was a couple of months ago it would have turned me from raw feeding!! I gave some to the dogs with their dinner. They loved it. I could only manage to get one bag done. I will do the other one when my stomach recovers.

I bought my last batch of tripe from a company (previously I had only gotten canned) that delivered 40 lbs frozen in chunks. let me tell you that even frozen that stuff stinks! LOL I have a 'dog' freezer and the whole thing, including my garage, smells like a barn. I thaw it in bread bags in the garage fridge (i would never bring it in the house to thaw!!)
