Default Butcher's Saw Dust

Has anyone ever used it? I have been tempted to ask the butcher a few times - they already think I'm crazy with my requests. Just wondering if it would be worth a try.

Don't have a link but have read of raw feeders using it, it is basically the stuff left when they clean their saws "saw dust" - just as there is a pile of wood dust when using a timber saw apparently there is like boney/meaty scraps "dust" that is left when they are cutting the meat on their saw. I'm curious but I'm not sure about it as I have never seen it myself (heard people rave about it) - is it just basically fresh bone meal - I'm thinking it probably is. I may just have to go ask next time I'm there and have a look for myself - I just didn't want to organise for them to keep it for me and end up with a ton of it and then discover I don't want to use it . Apparently most will give it to you for nothing as it ends up in the bin and I'm all for freebies I was thinking I could maybe mix it with her ground meat, make it go a little further.

oh, I thought it was a product LOL

Well,at first, I thought it was crazy giving raw food, and I'm doing that.... now I thought I was going to have to go out in the garage and cut up some lumber so I can make my own sawdust.... there actually is a little out there right now.

Crazy??????? mmmmmm......

It's basically meat, blood and bone - just picture the butcher sawing up ribs, leg bones etc. It is fine to give to a dog. The only negative is there's no chewing/flossing involved.
