Doreen, i think he'll be fine-it was raw, not cooked, so it's ok. We only buy pork riblets (smaller strips of pork ribs), or pork neck bones are easy to chew too...plus they are very cheap to buy.

I've been adding mashed white or sweet potatoes to his food all along, but stopped with the THK... didn't want to give him to many things at once, but maybe I'll start adding that again.

I don't trust a word of food advice from vets... but ours suggested the potato for Keepers and it helped him put some weight on.

Any luck finding the bone in his BM?

No luck yet.... I should go out now before the rains start pouring down. The dogs are out there running like crazy!!! DH is vacuuming the pool because tomorrow it is getting closed for the winter. I'm only afraid now when I go out, I won't find any nicely put together poops after they've been running so much
