cottage cheese?

I gave Rex some cottage cheese that I had. Of course he liked it... he's like Mikey, he'll eat anything, LOL, but anyway, if I am trying to put weight on Rex, do you think I should give him regular instead of 1% fat. I don't know how fat fits into this raw diet. Or will it depend on what his system will tolerate?

I sometimes add cottage cheese to Ruby's ground meals but I just add normal cottage cheese (not low or reduced fat). For Rex and his sensitive tummy I would go by what he handles best , he'll gain the weight when his body is ready and able.
