I know KeeperBoy does it ground, I do it whole or close to whole (depending on the weight) but that is like "Christmas Dinner" for poor Rubes, she doesn't get it alot .

We're buying whole "dressed" rabbit now also. It's about 2 pounds a piece.

Yes dressed means no fur, but all the bones and organs are in. The plan is to feed it whole (or whole-ish, since Boo only will get a tiny bit). They are expensive, we pay $10 for a dressed rabbit, which is 2-2.5 pounds. I'm thinking my two will get it Thanksgiving evening as a special treat.
Our supplier has them pretty frequently (simplepetfood.com).

Dh and his friends refer to the skinning and preparation of the rabbit as "dressing" and apparently they do a "dog dressing" or a "human dressing" so for the dogs they leave everything in there and do a rough skinning (and I say rough cause as you all know they left the fur on the feet the first time ) and for people they do a real good clean out of the organs, remove the head and such. I found this in some stuff Skinning and Dressing Rabbits
