Default Safe Fruits and Vegetables

So I was just searching to see if blackberries and raspberries were okay for dogs - I usually add some blueberries and know they are okay but mixed berries were on special today...anyway, these lists of "safe" foods on the internet are driving me crazy for example one will say apples are okay and another will say they are not, one even had apples in both the "safe" AND "unsafe" list - I know the apple is okay but the seeds are not and I have fed her apple from the day we got her and fed them to previous dogs with no problems. So back on track, now can every one PLEASE, PLEASE add fruits and vegies they know of that are safe or you have used so we can have a list on here that we can go to when looking to add something new, it will also give me ideas of new stuff to add lol.
Here is mine

carrots
spinach (in moderation)
apples
pears
blueberries
raspberries
blackberries
banana
beans
peas
parsley
sweet potato
brocoli (in moderation)
cauliflower (in moderation)
cos lettuce

okay your turn

-swiss chard
-green beans (not recommended for dogs with incontinence)
-kale

*my holistic vet did say that if a dog is showing allergies, carrots should be removed....also mentioned brocolli should be cooked.
bananas should be given in small quantities; they are high in potassium...and giving large quantities could cause heart problems....also some dogs can have allergies to bananas.

Kale is our favorite. Boo loves carrots and pineapple (which I read in Whole Dog Journal might be good for joints).

Also,

Sweet potatoes
Apple
Mango
Green Beans

Good thing you mentioned about the bananas. I give Rex about 3/4 of a banana a day, Coco gets the 1/4, she isn't always interested in eating it. I would give them a small chunk as a treat throughout the day. I'll have to tell DH about this and heart problems. I wonder how much is too much?

Only a couple of other things that haven't already been mentioned - squash [pumpkin type thing] and cucumber.

Sometimes, when the fruit here isn't very good or I can't get what I want, I buy a tin of fruit salad which has peach, pear and pineapple chunks in natural pear juice. I drain it and blend half a tin of that for them and give them quarter each of the mix - they love it because it's quite sweet.

I can empathise with the apple problem - the veg that confuses me is garlic - some sites say definitely not as it's a member of the onion family and yet so many other sites recommend it, especially, it seems, as a flea deterrent - I never know what to think about that one!?!

I've heard squash is really good for them!! we use fresh minced garlic in the food during flea season...but i only give about 1 clove every few days...it's fine in small amounts...anyhow, Memo did get 1 flea this summer and that was it. But you can also sprinkle diamatecous earth into their food also as a natural flea treatment...and it also kills worms. We sprinkle it all around our yard in the summer.

Garlic is all around good for dogs. They just can't eat 2 or 3 cloves at a time. I mince up one to two cloves per about 10 pounds of food.

The garlic thing has always confused me too, some say it is related to the onoin family and should not be fed and others feed it.....I don't I would beat myself up if it caused her to be sick.

I know red peppers are okay to give not sure if green would be different
