Question Too much bone

I've been able to get duck backs for free from work. Some are more meaty than others. If I feed a less meaty one to Keepers and don't want him to have hard stools, I have been throwing in some ground hamburger. But I was wondering if adding in something like a sweet potato would have the same effect. I'm at work and just got some more duck backs but don't have any hamburger defrosted at home. Thanks!

When I feed a real bony meal for one meal the next meal I will feed just meat. If you feed the duck backs again I would feed a couple of meaty meals and it will probably balance out.

I only add additional meat if the bone meal I'm feeding is under in weight, I will feed a bone meal and then a few meat only meals and Ruby has no problems being "too firm" just don't do numerous bone only meals in a row and it should be okay. Oh I do sometimes use the opportunity of the bone only meals to add a slightly larger than normal offal "side" without getting any loose stool issues, so you could always add some offal to it if you are really worried.
