Beef Spleen Any Good?
To remove this ad please Register check out a few butchers today and got some beef spleens real cheap.
Do they count as Ofal?

Yes spleen is considered as offal. I have never fed it though as I can't get it over here.
If you are following the 80-10-10 prey model, things such as heart, tongue, gizzards, tripe all fall into the muscle meat section, eg, the 80% meat ratio. The 10% Offal can be from spleen, kidneys, lung, brain, trachea - these should make up only half [5%] of the 10%, the other 5% should be from liver. How did it go at the butchers then? Apart from spleen did they have anything else on offer?
