Default desperately in need of a home

I have a 3 yr old female that I found at my office. She loves kids, gets along w my cat and other dogs. She is completely adorable and I would love to keep her. Unfortunately my landlord has said that I can not keep a third dog, because I have too many animals.(2 dogs, 1 cat, and 2 birds not including Sue) I am desperate to find her a good home. All of the local rescues have said they are full, and our local humane society has a horrible reputation. If you are interested please let me know. thank you.

That is too bad you have to find Sue a new home. Where do you live? Maybe post a pic hopefully someone may be able to take her.

Have you taken her to a vet to have her scanned for a chip - someone may be missing her. If you are serious about finding her a new home you haven't really provided enough information, where abouts are you located etc. If you try a Boxer specific rescue you will probably have more success as they all have foster homes that take the dogs in until they find their new forever home and all applicants are screened - IMO that would be your best bet and it would be the best for HER too rather than someone who just puts their hand up to take her and is unscreened and goodness knows who - they could be into dog fighting, think that it is okay to leave a Boxer outside, want her just because she is a Boxer and not becuaue she is a "fit" with their lifestyle or not be completely dedicated to owning a dog and all it entails and she could end up in the pound or on the streets.

This is the first time I've done any kind of forum thing and it was my dad's idea(he's on alot of different kinds) so I wasn't sure how to go about it or what info to put, etc. Also he said to do the boxer forums because boxer people are much like golden retreiver people(which he is) in the fact that they are generally in love with the breed. So that would mean that they know what they are getting into. I hope this helps..

I live in Longview, Tx which is about 1-1 1/2 hrs from Tyler, Texarkana, and Shereveport(louisiana) depending on which direction you are coming from. I have taken her to the vet and they checked her for a microchip but there was none. I also kept looking for lost dog posts, but there was none for her. I have contacted the local rescues and they're all full. Also the boxer rescues I contacted have said the same thing. Although I did find a local lady that does actual rescue(even though she's not an official rescue) that knows someone that's willing to atleast foster her. But I haven't heard anything since 12/23 I hope I get a call from her today. My landlord is not exactly a "patient person". I know that with the help of rescues, and kind-hearted people we can "doggie chain" her to her new home. I thank you for your interest and assistance and I will keep you posted as things come up. Oh and my profile picture is of Suzie now that she has weight on her(and actually looks like a dog, not a skeleton w/swolen teets). That way you can see her.

Oh yeah and I forgot.... She seems to love kids, gets alnog with other dogs, and even with my cat. Plus we are currently treating her for a staph infection. The vet said that it is probably caused by the hormones, as well as a blown coat, so I would Highly suggest that she be spayed. Well I feel that way no matter what, but especially since it will cause these two issues. She has been tested for demodex, but was negative. Ok now I think that's it. If there's anything else you want to know, please feel free to ask I will answer to the best of my abilities.
