Hi there, i have finally broken my laptop! Saving for a new one. But as it go's running is going great and i am loving it, do 6 miles everyday and 2/3 of that i can run straight and have lost a stone woop woop, Buster is so fit and loving our sessions, have a very funny video of him chasing me on the beach and then finally tripping me up, will post it as soon as i have new laptop.

I don't think I have run 6 miles in the last 10 years... props to you! Getting fit is a real energy booster too... I love finding an old pair of pants and putting them on and they are too big!

Keep up the good work.

Just curious, how long is it taking you to run the 6 miles?

If you want to work on improving your speed and stamina, Graham says you can do this by doing one over-distance run per week [say 7 miles] to help your stamina. To improve your speed - do one session per week of strides [10 x 100m strides with jog recovery inbetween].

Wow! I am impressed! I am absolutely certain I've never run that far! Walking is more my speed--and I haven't been able to do any of that for nearly a year. (tendonitis in my achilles tendon--it is taking FOREVER to go away!) Am hopeful the end is near and I can try to get in shape again before our September vacation. (Going to San Francisco and Yosemite for our 20th wedding anniv!)
