I would like to tell you about my rescue. I was born white like lots of other Boxers. I think my original home was probably what is called a back yard breeder. I was happy with my mom and other litter mates. I am sure my mom did not care that I was white. Suddenly when I was weened I was taken away. I was dropped off at a shelter in San Bernardino California. I did not know what I did wrong. None of my other litter mates came with me. Why did they dump me off and not them? Maybe because they did not think they could make as much money for me. They did not get what a sweet good girl I am. Some one would have wanted me.
When I was left at the shelter I did not know what a bad shelter it was. Someone put me with 2 mean Pit Bulls. I was attacked and hurt real bad. I was bloody and left to die. This nice lady from LABR
http://www.boxer-rescue-la.com/ came by. They check out all of the shelters to be sure there was no Boxers there. She saw me laying there all bloody and informed the so called shelter that I was a pure bred Boxer. They adopted me and I got fixed up. It is a good thing they came when they did or I would not be here now. I was put in a foster home where I was loved and taken care of. I had Boxer friends to play with and was really loved while I recovered. When I was 4 months old my foster mommy took me for a car ride. We drove for about an hour. She took me to this lady's house. I could see that this lady was really sad. She had this other Boxer named Daisy that she had to let go live with her son. I could see that she needed me and went right over to her and loved her. I decided that she was going to be my new mommy. I could tell that she loved me and would never let anything bad happen to me and would keep me forever!!! My name was Chelsie but my mom decided I should be called Georgie.
Thank God for the Boxer Rescue people!!!!!!!
