I know there is one in North Brunswick called Katie's Pet Depot that would have it. The Hungry Puppy in Farmingdale has it. Really any smaller type private will carry it. I've tried the Dr. Harvey's freeze dried brand, it is really good. I also buy the tripe frozen from our food supplier and mix it into some of her meals b/c they say it acts as a digestive enzyeme for better nutrient absorbsion. The type of tripe best for pets is green tripe.
Also a good web site is www.petfoodirect.com they have a lot of good stuff on there.
There is a place in Hazlet on Rt. 36 that I bought some frozen things from them once. I will have to there and try that.

I do use Boo's kongs, you're right they are smaller. I'd forgotten the "big dog" ones, since we've lost all of Keepers'.

Let us know if you get the tripe. We've gotten a lot of people in our dog classes into it. Once we give it to the dog it is all they want, it's pretty funny.

Thanks Joe.... I just read the description.... and laughed when it said
"All natural and raw diets have been shown to increase longevity, vitality, energy and over all well-being of companion animals, while decreasing susceptibility to allergies and disease."

ENERGY is the last thing I want to get out of these, LOL LOL LOL LOL. She is a bundle of energy...... Is there anything natural to make her more subdued, like we would drink sleep time tea, LOL LOL.

If I don't find these in the special pet store, I will order them. Can the patties be broken up into little pieces for training or are they tiny already?

I break them up. They are a bit crumbly but do break up.

I just rescued a abandoned dog and she seems to be house broken but I am having a tough time keeping her on a leash, begging for food and sitting. Does anyone have any good advice to help me out or direct me to a good dog training web site? Also i am having trouble getting her out in the backyard as well.

There are calming treats out there - I've used 'Mellow Mut' by DogsWell. You can also get rescue remedy for dogs if it is that bad. But the tripe won't be too much of an energy booster like they say... you'd only be giving a treat or two during the training... purpose is that dogs love the flavor of tripe, so that's the treat that will get the attention IMO.
