Default What Size Of Crate?

What size of crate should i use for the new puppy? I have a huge (large breed) crate i can use. I was thinking i'd use that but just put a divider in it until he's big enough for the whole thing.

Would that be fine, or should i start with a smaller crate at the beginning?

I would use that... why spend $$ on another one he will outgrow really fast.. as long as you can divide it up, that makes sense to me.. that is what I did in the past.

I too would use the crate you have with a divider . Why buy another unless you think you will need to crate both of them (seperately of curse )for some reason .

I personally enjoyed having a smaller crate around. Peaches was always trying to chew the divider when we first tried with out it. We picked up a used crate off of Kijiji for 30 bucks and just sold it for 50!. For the small amount of time you will need it it shouldn't cost much. But then again that's just me.
