Default Newman Hates The Cold

poor little guy did really good his first day here going outside, but the weather turned cold and he's being a HUGE baby about doing his business outside. He just runs for the door.

I just keep block his path and turning him around until he goes. I think he's figured out that he can't go inside until he does something

Poor baby, maybe he needs a coat? When Wally was little (was that just a year ago??) I got an inexpensive fleece coat for him and he LOVED it. Also came in handy when he was sick and feeling chilled. Need to either purchase or make him a new one, as the old one isn't even CLOSE to fitting him.

Poor little man! about the coat, it will make the temp a little more comfortable for him - I've heard of people using baby jackets on their pups, they said it was cheaper than purchasing one from the pet store.

I bought preemie sized baby T shirts for Emmett. He was such a little baby! It's not ever that cold in Arizona...

We got Buddy last Feb and he was little and cold too. But he quickly figured out he didn't need to be out long - Just Go Newman!!! haha. Poor guy - and you too, Ron. Standing out there in the cold.

What a difference a year makes. Now Buddy wants to go out all the time and play in the snow. I remarked today that he's going to really miss chasing snowballs.

awwww... the poor little baby.... I always feel sorry for them, wondering why me make them go out in this cold weather, LOL. That is why I said I would want to wait til spring to get a puppy if we were going to.

My two don't mind the cold. Especially Rex... he would stay outside forever if I let him, as long as he can come to the patio door and see me, he is happy just knowing I am still "around" to let him in if he wants to come in, LOL. Then he runs off and keeps playing, LOL. Coco is more apt to come in sooner.

I don't have coats for my dogs... they don't seem to need them.

Our Bruno, 6 weeks old, the son of our 3 year old female, loves the cold and snow, he amazes me. He doesn't like it when its windy though. I go out and walk around with him and call him, he loves to chase me. He also does better if I let one of our other 3 out with him.

Rocky, his dad, loves the snow and cold. I sometimes have to make him come him because he doesn't know when he's had enough of the cold.

Mama Missy now, well, she hates the cold. Have to force her to go out, she's fine once she's out there, but always the first one to come in, and runs to the fireplace to warm up when she comes in.
